Cutting My Losses

About: Life is too short to deal with negativity and being verbally/emotionally abused. Only YOU can decide when enough is enough, and you are ready to cut your losses.

I was verbally abused as a child, and over 20 years into my adult life up until just recently. It is taking everything I have inside of me to overturn the bad memories of the past.

But if someone reaches out to you, give them ear it is always good to have someone to talk to; and remember there is always counseling available near you and please protect yourself at all times. Verbal abuse can also escalate to physical abuse. And remember women and men can be emotionally abused too.

The important thing is you, take care of yourself. Because I am living proof it can get better after time.
