About: This is part of the poem that I wrote and then put in my mom's (Rita) casket when she passed away from Lung Cancer, April 19, 2004, the rest of it, I finished last year, she always loved this opal background. This week (August 15th) she would've been 68 years old.

I think about her every day and I miss her greatly. I am working on an online cookbook for her in her memory, she worked on family recipes for so many years. When I get it uploaded and done I'll put the link here so you all can go visit.

Yes it is so hard to lose the person you were the closest to. But she isn't suffering anymore, which is a blessing in a way. Thank you :)

my mom still hasn't gotten over her dad's death that happened i think 6 years ago.
